TBT: Pregnancy Style

Hello lovelies!
For today's post, I wanted to do another Throwback Thursday style post, and this time I'm sharing the outfits that I wore throughout my pregnancy. As you guys know, I didn't blog much while I was pregnant, and I didn't really take many outfit pictures, and that was mainly because I didn't fit into my clothes, and I for some reason had some aversion to buying maternity clothes. I know that sounds silly, but I couldn't find any cute maternity clothes or any that were really my style, and I hated spending money on stuff that I felt I was never gonna wear again after being pregnant, so for most of my pregnancy, I lived in some of the larger clothes that I already owned, and in 4 pairs of maternity shorts that I finally broke down and bought back in June. Being pregnant in the summer is not something that I wish upon anyone, because the heat is literally unbearable when you're pregnant. August was definitely the hardest month for me, and I lived in literally the same two sundresses that entire month. I shared with you guys about 10 outfits of days where I actually had the energy to semi put together an outfit that was presentable. Stripes Galore.

Hey loves!
Okay, I'll admit it, I have a slight obsession with stripes. Maybe it's more of a huge obsession, but I can't quite admit to that yet. I know stripes make you look wider and aren't always so flattering, but I can't seem to stay away from them! Today, I compiled a post with all of my favorite outfits where I'm wearing stripes, to hopefully give you all some inspiration and maybe some courage to wear this print. I think stripes, leopard, and florals are the chicest of all prints, and if you've been following and reading my blog for a while now, you'll see how much I wear these. Mommy Mode.

Hi loves!
Today I wanted to share with you guys a glimpse into what I usually wear on a day to day basis. I'm a mommy full time and I always like to stay as practical as I can when dressing, so most days I'm in either leggings or jeggings, an oversized shirt, flannel, or sweater, and some comfy shoes. My makeup is super minimal so I usually wear the biggest sunglasses I can find to hide the bags under my eyes, and my hair is piled on top of my head in a messy bun. Welcome to the not so glamorous life of being a mommy. I don't know how some women can go full on glam everyday when they have little ones, but for me, I just like to keep it as minimal as I possibly can. I tend to stick to practicality over glamour, and I think I still manage to look kinda cute. I hope you guys like this look, and hopefully there are mommies who are reading this right now, who understand the struggle. I love you all and I'll talk to you in a few days!

Fall 2015 Purchases (Part 1)

Hello Loves!
As you guys have seen on my Snapchat (@cynthiap18) and Instagram (@makefashionyourown), I have been on a major shopping kick lately. At the beginning of the season, I made a list of all the things I wanted to add my wardrobe this season, and I'm about halfway through with the list, and I've even added a few more items as I go, and do some more shopping, both online and in store. Luckily, since all of these were recent purchases, I was able to find the exact items still available online, and for the couple items that weren't the exact brand, I added links to items that were the exact same as mine but just from a different store or in a different color. I hope you guys find this post interesting and helpful in finding items you've been in search of, and hopefully it inspires you to go shopping and revamp your wardrobe for fall a little bit. Hi beauties!
As I was planning today's blog post, I came across some pictures from May of 2014 that I realized never made it on my blog, and crazy enough the outfit I'm wearing in this picture is perfect for fall. Here in Colorado, it's still way to wear for what I consider appropriate fall weather, so if you live somewhere where the weather is as unpredictable as where I live, than the sandals in this look are perfect. If you happen to live in a place lucky enough to be experiencing the wonder that is fall weather, than simply switch out the sandals for some ankle booties in a pretty tan or cognac color, and you're set to go! Pinterest: Buffalo Plaid Outfit Inspiration

Hello loves!
Well, I finally did it, I finally found the perfect buffalo plaid flannel. The best part is that I found it at Walmart and it was less than $13. Yup, that's right. Less than $13. It's okay if you run to Walmart right now and go pick it up. I tried finding it online for you guys, but unfortunately it's not available online, but I linked some similar ones for you guys here, here, and here. I also included some other cute buffalo print items that I thought you guys would like for fall.
