I Shake It Off.

"haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, I shake it off, I shake it off"

Hello beautiful people of the internet!
For today's blog post, I wanted to share some words of wisdom along with an outfit post. This outfit honestly makes me feel so sassy. The leather skater skirt, the sequined blazer, the leopard loafers, and the teal purse just make for the sassiest combination. I think that's maybe why I wanted to share a few words for those who read my blog or follow me on Instagram just to have something to trash me on or to find something bad to say about me. I feel like I should thank you. You have brought me more page views and more "accidental" likes when you're checking up on me, so thank you for helping me and my blog grow. Shoutout to you. As T-Swifty said, "I shake it off," and that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I don't care if you there are people out there who get their enjoyment from trashing me, it doesn't bother me, and it actually just gives me a laugh. So, if you're one of those people who come to my blog or check out my Instagram or Snapchat just to feel better about yourselves by making fun of me or talking about me, more power to you. And for the rest of you, I wanted to honestly thank you. I have gotten to do some pretty awesome things recently and I have even more awesome things coming up, so thank you for helping MFYO grow to be what it is today. I truly cannot thank you enough.

"I 'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, I shake it off, I shake it off."

Neutrals With A Twist

Hello beautiful readers!
Can you all believe it's already Wednesday? I am so excited! I have two classes left this week, and then I get to get all fancied up and attend the Denver Style Magazine launch party, so if you're also there, make sure to come up and say hi! Today's look is one of my favorites. Theres nothing I love wearing more in the fall time than a cozy sweater, some comfy jeans, and a cute pair of booties. I just purchased this yellow Rebecca Minkoff lookalike from K-Mart for only $5, and I have been dying to wear it, so I obviously had to find a way. I decided to give my usual uniform a bit of a twist by adding some bright accessories, because I wanted to show you all how truly easy it can be to wear bright colors in the fall time as long as it's in moderation. I added a really beautiful tribal inspired necklace that has some really bright colors to bring in the purse in a way that wasn't obnoxious or blinding to the eyes. I think the outfit has a perfect balance of bright colors and neutrals and the style of the necklace, booties, and sweater still make this a very fall appropriate outfit. I hope you all adventure a little out of your comfort zone this season and try brining some bright colors into your fall wardrobe!

Autumn Romance

Hello loves!
I hope your Monday is going well :) This morning I posted a picture up on Facebook and Instagram and asked my friends and followers which look I should recreate for today's outfit. I really loved the outfit that I recreated. It's very romantic and it just screams fall. The colors are so pretty and I'm glad I picked this floral printed dress with the poofy sleeves instead of a long sleeved stripped dress. I think the floral print just works much better. I wasn't sure about the scarf, but honestly I think it went with this outfit perfectly! I was so excited to finally bust out one of my newest babies, this gorgeous Gigi New York Clutch. All of the different colors and textures of this outfit shouldn't work together, but somehow they do. Thats what I love about fashion. You can wear anything, as long as you wear it with confidence.

Sunday Best

Hi lovelies!
I hope you're all enjoying your sunday so far! I wanted to get a post up today and today's outfit just was perfect for a post. I'm a Jehovah's Witness so today we have a special day full of worship which obviously called for me to bring out the sequined blazer and the fuchsia heels. I adore this dress. I got it last fall at Plato's Closet for only $1. Can you believe that? The colors are perfect for fall, and it's the perfect style and length for a day at Kingdom Hall. I went with a black quilted cross body bag to add just one more dash of ladylikeness to my outfit and to tie everything together. Since I wore this blazer, I had to put my hair up because if not my hair and the sequins will keep getting tangled all day long and that is not a fun situation, so I obviously went for my favorite braided undo. Let me know if you guys want a tutorial! I hope you all have a lovely sunday :)

Feminine Friday.

Hello beautiful people!
Saturdays are probably my favorite days of the week because it gives me the opportunity to catch up on homework and create some new content for MFYO for the upcoming week. I was going to wait until Sunday to post a new look for you guys, but I really loved my outfit yesterday and I thought I would share all the details of it today :) Over the years my style has definitely evolved, and it is no longer as girly and feminine as it used to be. Now a days I like to experiment with my style and I'm more into trying new things and new looks out, but sometimes a girls just gotta go back to what she knows and loves. I love this pretty pink cardigan and the ruffles on the bottom are just perfect! I got it last winter as a gift from my friend Lindsay, and I can't believe that it took me so long to finally pull it out of my closet and wear it. It was kind of chilly this day, so I paired this look with some thick black leggings, and my favorite tan riding boots that I scored from Ross last winter. Under my cardigan, I wore I pretty chiffon top that was just begging to be layered for the fall time. I wore a pretty pink and gold GUESS charm bracelet that my momma gave me for my 16th birthday and of course some pearl studs. All details will be down below :)

Skater Vibes.

Hi loves!
Happy Friday! I'm so glad that it's finally the end of the week, so I can have some time to unwind and relax for a couple of days. This past week has been crazy busy, but it's all worth it, and I can't wait for you all to see some of the projects I've been working on! For today's post, I decided to share with you guys my skater girl inspired look. I took a page from my little sister, Grecia's style book, and put together this very skater chic look. I really loved the colors of this flannel, and paired together with that tee and leggings, I was just so comfortable! My sister suggested I added some grey chucks, and then I threw on a beanie and a black leather purse and I was set! We decided to go to a local skate park to shoot today's photos because it just seemed appropriate (skater chick in a skate park, duh lol) and luckily for me, one of her friend's happened to be there and he kindly let me borrow his skateboard to take some pictures with and let me just tell you that those 45 seconds of posing on the skateboard were the scariest 45 seconds of my life. I have absolutely no balance or coordination so the skateboard kept tipping from side to side, and of course I kept screaming like the total girl I am every time I thought I was going to fall (which was like every 5 seconds haha.) Needless to say, I think everyone watching me had a good laugh at my expense today, but that's alright, because I got some really good shots! I hope you all have a great weekend, and I will talk to you all again real soon :)
