Pinterest: Bar Cart Envy

Hello beautiful readers!
Today, as per usual, I was scrolling through my Pinterest feed (which is something I do all day long now that I'm due in 2 weeks) when I came across some pins of bar carts that gave me major envy. My husband and I are currently in the process of looking for a new place for our growing little family, so I pin a lot of home inspiration stuff to help me decorate when the times comes. Although neither of us are drinkers, I have wanted a cute little bar cart for forever and that's one of the things that will be going in our place for sure. I just think their so chic and sassy and bring so much personality to a home, so I decided to share my 6 favorite pins of bar carts with you guys to hopefully inspire you to add one to your home, inspire you to start a home inspiration board, or maybe just make you want to spend hours on Pinterest finding endless amazing home inspiration pins to add to your boards! Midi Skirts Galore!

Hello beautiful friends!
I am not the only completely obsessed with the midi skirt trend right? I love them in all textures and fun patterns and I love how put together they instantly make you look whether you pair it with a silk blouse or a crop top. I've seen bloggers all over Instagram share their looks sporting a midi skirt, and I have pinned several hundred different outfit inspirations on how to wear it. I cannot wait to finally be able to wear skirts like this again in a few months, and yes I plan to wear this trend well into fall time and maybe even winter time if the weather permits. I think these types of skirts are just so timeless and chic, and so I wanted to share with you guys some of my favorites that I have spotted while online shopping recently, and the best part is that they're all under $50! I also wanted to thank you guys for your continued support and for helping my blog grow so much this past year even though I haven't been blogging the way I used to these past 7 months. I'm not even going to lie, pregnancy has been very hard on me and my body and I don't the confidence to wear stuff the way I used to at my normal weight. I know obviously with pregnancy your body changes, and you will gain weight, but it's been very hard for me to want to go shopping and pick up clothes for my pregnancy body, so for the most part I stick to maxi dresses and maternity shorts. Nothing fashionable at all, which is why I don't really do outfit posts anymore. Baby Edward will be here any day now, and I'm so excited to finally meet him, but also to start working on myself again and to get back to blogging. I miss you guys so much and I can't wait to see what the rest of this year holds.
A couple weeks ago my husband and I got our maternity pictures done, and since everyone has been loving the ones I've posted to my Instagram so far, so I have decided to share all of the pictures with you guys in a blog post within the next week or so, so make sure to also come back for that :)

Hi guys!
Today as I was scrolling through my Pinterest and Instagram, I was inspired to share with you all some affordable off the shoulder tops, dresses, and rompers. I have been so obsessed with this style since last summer, and luckily this summer there are tons of options available at pretty much every price point which is amazing. There is just something so chic and sophisticated, but still really girly and flirty about this look. As I mentioned in yesterdays post, my style has been evolving a lot, and so through these kinds of posts as well as outfit inspiration posts, you guys are going to be able to see my new style show through as well as evolve as the time goes on. I will definitely be investing in a couple of off the shoulder dresses for this summer, because I'm getting to the point in my pregnancy where pants are just no longer very comfortable anymore, so you will be able to see how I style some of those when the time comes. Mid-Week Outfit Pick Me Up.













Lately, I have been feeling pretty uninspired with my wardrobe partly due to the fact that I no longer fit into half of my clothes comfortably and partly because I've matured out of most of my wardrobe. Now that I'll be a mom in a few months, my style is definitely evolving. I no longer want to dress in things that make me look like a teenager, but at the same time, I also don't wanna dress like a mom. Shopping for me has literally become so depressing because I don't want to wear maternity clothes that make me look like I'm in my 40s, but I also don't want to buy clothes that make me look like a knocked up 12 year old. I've been sticking to wearing clothes that I already own, that make me feel comfortable, and that also are comfortable, which is great for me, but is not so great when it comes to OOTDs on Instagram or even outfit posts here on my blog. I've come up with a solution to be able to provide all of my lovely readers with outfit inspiration as well as compensate for the fact that my style is changing and my clothes don't really fit my style or size right now. I will be creating these looks for you all on Polyvore which is a website and app that I have been using for a few years now and I love because you can honestly find so many great pieces and direct links in one place. I posted links to every single item that you guys see, and I will continue to post links to all the items, but the best part is that I will try to keep all of these pieces for under $100, so they're all affordable! The time is finally here ladies. Time to (hopefully) put away our winter boots until October and bring out all the beautiful sandals that have been hiding in the back of our closets just waiting for late spring to finally arrive. Of course, if any of you are like me, you have already been eyeing some new sandals to add to your wardrobe this year, and have been stalking every fashion magazine to gain inspiration and get you out of your winter funk. I have been eyeing knee high gladiator sandals since last summer, but unfortunately the only options available were over $100 and that was just not possible on a broke college students budget. Luckily, almost every retailer is carrying them this season, and even better we can now purchase this trend for less than $100! I scoured countless websites and pinterest and found 12 super cute affordable sandals for under $100 (except for one pair.) I hope this compiled list helps you guys in your search of the perfect gladiator sandal, and I even included some celebrity outfit inspiration to help you style your new future purchases! What's In My Makeup Bag



Hello beautiful people!
I always see tons of bloggers and Instagrammers post all of the beauty and makeup products they carry with them on a day to day basis, and they're honestly some of my favorite posts and Instagram pictures to scroll through and read, because I'm so curious as to what people consider their absolute favorites and things they want to carry all the time. It actually inspired me to share with you guys the things that I've been carrying with me lately. At 19 weeks pregnant, I cannot find the energy to put on any makeup before 10 am, so I actually take my makeup with me to work and once I've woken up completely, I will apply it. I just find that this works much better for me, because I can put some actual effort into my makeup instead of the usual lip balm and moisturizer I would wear if I did my makeup before work. I love these kind of posts because it encourages me to try out new things, and so hopefully after seeing some of my favorites, you will be inspired to make a trip to your local drugstore and find some new makeup to play with!

Face


For my face, I tend to keep it pretty simple so I use only the necessary to make me look and feel alive ever morning.
Foundation: I use the Olay Total Effects 7 in One Tone Correcting CC Cream which has been my go to for over a year. It does everything that I need it to do, plus it also acts like a moisturizer giving me a glow. 
Powder: For the past 3 years I have been using the Rimmel London Stay Matte Long Lasting Powder in Translucent to set my makeup. It keeps everything in place and never makes me shiny, but it does let my natural glow come through, which I love because it's not heavy at all, so it never makes my face feel cakey. 
Concealer: The L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Crayon Concealer in fair light (n1-2-3) is the only concealer I've used in the past year. It conceals my dark circles, brightens my under eyes,and is never cakey!
Blush and Bronzer: Although I'm a huge fan of my NYC Bronzer, I love this e.l.f Contouring Blush and Bronzer duo in St. Lucia. It's compact and it has two products that look great on my skin color no matter the season. This bronzer may not be everyones cup of tea because it does have some shimmer, but I love how pretty it looks on the skin. The blush is a pretty coral color which again looks beautiful year round.
Highligher: I didn't use to be a big fan of highlighter, but this Bonne Bell blend'nglow is so beautiful. Depending on how much makeup I'm wearing that day, I can wear just one of the colors, or I can blend them all together to create different shades of highlighter. It's very easy to carry on the go because I can get a lot of use and a lot of different colors from one small compact product,


Eyes

Eyeshadow: I don't wear color on my lids every single day, but for those days that I want to add a little color, I use the Maybelline New York Color Tattoo 24hr in 25 Bad to the Bronze, without any other type of eyeshadow on top because this product is something that you can build up. I usually apply two layers and just blend it out with my fingers for a nice everyday look. I love this product because you don't need anything else to accompany it, and you can wear it all day long without fear of it coming off. 
Eyeliners: I have two eyeliners that I carry with me everyday even though I don't necessarily wear them everyday because these two are my holy grail eyeliners. For liquid eyeliner I use the Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen and for pencil eyeliner I use the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Zero. I can always count on these two to never smudge or run down my face, and after years of experimenting with eyeliners, I think it's safe to say I have found the two that I will continue using until they discontinue making them.
Eyebrows: Even though my eyebrows are a hot mess at the moment, I use the Maybelline New York Expert Wear Eyebrow Pencil in Blonde. I used to use the e.l.f. eyebrow kit, but I found that this is more convenient to carry with me because I don't have to carry an extra brush. Although I'm a brunette, this pencil still fills in my eyebrows nicely without making them too dark, which is what I like. 
Mascara: I have a few mascaras that are my favorites and that I rotate through, but the current one I'm using is the Maybelline New York Mega Plush Volume Express. I love that this mascara makes my eyelashes really soft and it's a perfect mascara for day to day because it's very build able.


Lips

All of these get rotated through on a daily basis because I'll usually throw in a new one every day and take one out, so I won't really go into much detail besides saying that I always keep a clear lip balm with me, a couple lipsticks, a colored lipbalm, and a couple lipstains with me at all times. 

Brushes

I keep only 3 brushes with me in my makeup bag, and they all happen to be from e.l.f. cosmetics. I use the Powder brush to set my powder, the Blush brush for bronzer and highlighter, and the stippling brush for blush. I don't like to keep many brushes with me because I find they get ruined and dirty in my makeup bag, so I like to keep only the essentials with me.

Neutral Leopard.

Hello Beautifuls!
I know, I know. It's been a while, but here's a little update on what's been going on in my life since November. I got married, I'm a full time business owner now, and I'm 17 weeks pregnant! Yes, I know my life has been quite eventful since my last post and I'm really sorry that I haven't been posting at all, but everything in my life has been happening so fast that I just now am starting to regain some normalcy in my life and trying to regain a little part of my old life back. I have missed fashion blogging so much, but during the first 12 weeks of my pregnancy, I literally wore nothing but leggings and sweatpants because of how sick I was. I had extreme all day sickness and I was too exhausted to properly coordinate an outfit worthy of an OOTD post on Instagram or here on my blog. Last week was the first day that I finally started feeling like myself again and I started dressing up and  putting some effort into how I looked once again. I'm so happy to be back and I'm already planning more posts coming sometime this week! Thank you all for sticking with me and for all of your supportive comments over on Instagram!
